Texas Jack: Pursuit of the Philosopher's Stone

Free

Nuclear fallout has left the world in a chaotic state in which two different groups fight to attain control and power. Texas Jack fights for the Protectors, who are trained mercenaries responsible for protecting a group of kids with special abilities. Some would say Texas Jack is a living legend, but he doesn't think so due to his past failures, which he can't seem to let go of. The City Men on the other hand, only want to achieve world domination and are willing to do whatever it takes, which includes killing anybody who's opposed to their rule. As the war rages on, Texas Jack realizes the Protectors are on their very last breath, and if they don't do something soon, the City Men will win the war. All seems lost until a long-lost companion reminds him of the tale of the Ultimate Sorcerer. He realizes if the Protectors want a chance to survive, they must take a dangerous journey to find the Philosopher's Stone, where they'll surely encounter evil forces that are just as bad, if not worse, than the City Men. Although Texas Jack doesn't see himself as a leader, the Journey seems to go well until an army of City Men tracks them down. Texas Jack, whose only focus is survival and protecting the kids, must realize his potential and destiny by retrieving the Philosopher's Stone before he gets his entire team killed, because if he doesn't stop the City Men, then nobody will.
